The School are seeking an ICT specialist for the next academic year, commencing September 2007 to work in their primary department). The post holder will be accountable for raising standards of teaching, learning and attainment in ICT for pupils in Nursery to Year 3 and be responsible for providing professional development for staff in the use of the interactive whiteboard ICT hardware and software. Other aspects of the role include team teaching with class teachers, responsibility for developing and reviewing the primary schools' ICT curriculum, monitoring ICT assessment procedures, managing the primary school's ICT budget and ensuring that all ICT hardware is in good working order.
This post is a middle leadership post within the school and the postholder will be a member of the subject co-ordinators' team, accountable to the Head of the Primary School. CO-ORDINATOR OF LEARNING SUPPORT
The School are seeking a dynamic and highly competent teaching professional to take responsibility for raising the standards of teaching, learning and attainment for targeted pupils with EAL and or SEN from Nursery to Year 10. This position which will commence in September 2007, is a senior leadership role within the school accountable to the Head of both the primary and senior schools.
Duties involve supporting the inclusive ethos and policies of the school by ensuring that inclusive practices are used throughout the school to enhance learning for all pupils, providing support and guidance to class based and specialist teachers in implementing differentiated learning opportunities, evaluating and reviewing the school's inclusion policies and developments, conducting initial EAL/SEN pupil assessments, training and development of Learning Support Assistants, induction of new staff and performance monitoring of all staff within the department.
