The REC is the recognised professional body for Recruitment Agencies and Individual recruiters in the UK. Their aim is to raise the standards in the recruitment industry through training. The REC Code of Professional Conduct aims to encourage high standards of performance from recruitment specialists. Individual members of the REC are required to commit and abide by this Code of Conduct, which outlines professionaly acknowledged and respected standards of best practice.
