AN IN-DEPTH INTERVIEW
Interviews will usually take place
at one of our U.K. offices.
However, applicants from New
Zealand and South Africa may have
the opportunity to be interviewed
by one of our overseas consultants
prior to their departure.
Interviews are non-competitive so
that teachers can talk openly and
honestly about their career and
teaching preferences. The main
purpose of the interview is to
assess what type of teaching
position and school would be best
suited to you. As soon as you know
your date of arrival let us know so
that we can book an interview date
and time. Candidates who register
with our overseas office will have
their documentation sent to our
London offices and given
confirmation of their interview
time prior to their arrival in the
UK, where it has not been possible
to arrange an interview prior to
departure.
PROOF OF
QUALIFICATIONS
We need proof of your teaching
qualifications. This either means
sight of original, or
notarised/certified copies. A
certified copy of your degree,
academic transcripts and any other
qualifications should also be
brought with you. U.K. and E.C.
applicants must also provide their
DfES registration number and
original confirmation from the DfES
that they are qualified to teach in
the U.K. For further information
contact the DfES at:-
Mowden Hall
Staindrop Road

REFERENCES
Whilst we accept open references
and testimonials we will also take
up independent references
ourselves. One such reference must
be from your last teaching
position. In the case of Newly
qualified teachers references will
be taken up with their
college/university and with one of
their teaching practice
placements.
