CLASSROOM ASSISTANTS

Masterlock has opportunities on a full and part time basis for individuals who are keen to assist class teachers across all areas of the curriculum. The role of a classroom assistant can vary widely from school to school. Classroom assistant duties can range from working with individual or small groups of pupils with special educational needs to assisting class teachers with literacy, numeracy and reading.

Classroom assistants should be over 20 years of age, and have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills. The ability to work as part of a team combined with a flexible and positive attitude is essential. Experience of working with children in an educational/child care environment would be beneficial.
